Arrival in Cairo, GEM & Pyramids of Giza
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative will be waiting to welcome you and assist with your transfer.
Your program begins with a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), considered one of the world’s largest archaeological museums and home to priceless treasures of ancient Egypt.
After the visit, enjoy lunch at a quality local restaurant before heading to your hotel near the Pyramids for check-in.
In the afternoon, subject to your arrival time, you will visit the Pyramids of Giza. Explore the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World, alongside the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure. You will also enjoy a close-up view of the legendary Great Sphinx and visit the Valley Temple of King Khafre, where ancient mummification rituals took place.

After breakfast, your Egyptologist guide will pick you up for a full-day tour.
Start with a visit to Saqqara, the ancient necropolis of Memphis, where you will see the famous Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the world’s oldest large-scale stone monument.
Enjoy lunch at a nice local restaurant, then continue to the Citadel of Salah El Din to visit the impressive Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, one of Cairo’s most recognizable landmarks and a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture.
Afterwards, continue to Old Cairo and visit the Hanging Church, one of Egypt’s oldest churches, built above the gate of the ancient Roman fortress. Then visit Abu Serga Church, believed to be one of the places where the Holy Family found refuge, followed by the historic Ben Ezra Synagogue.
End your day with a visit to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest and most famous markets in the Middle East.
Return to your hotel for overnight stay in Cairo.

Alexandria Day Tour from Cairo
After breakfast, your Egyptologist guide will pick you up for a full-day trip to Alexandria, approximately 2.5 hours from Cairo.
Your first stop will be the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, the largest known Roman burial site in Egypt and one of Alexandria’s most important archaeological attractions.
Continue to Pompey’s Pillar, a remarkable Roman column dating back to the 3rd century and one of the most significant remaining monuments from the Greco-Roman period.
Then enjoy a photo stop at the famous Qaitbay Citadel, one of the most important defensive fortresses on the Mediterranean coast. The citadel stands on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, once considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Enjoy lunch at a quality seafood restaurant, then visit the modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina, including its open court and available free museums.
After the tour, drive back to Cairo for another overnight stay.
